Sleeping Beauty

It had been a long winter, you see. So long, in fact, that it was hard for either of us to believe that our ancient, sleeping apple tree would ever awaken from her long winter’s nap. But miraculously, at some point, probably while we were busy working away at our jobs in the city…this happened.
